A Bit About Me
Hi!
I’m Natalie — a graphic designer with a love for playful, colorful design that brings ideas to life. I’m also a mom, a wife, and a proud cat owner, balancing creativity and family with lots of heart and a good sense of humor. I find inspiration in fun music, everyday moments, and anything that sparks joy. When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me in the garden, behind a sewing machine, or deep into a game.
My Design Journey
Senior Visual Project Manager
06.2013 - 02.2017
My time working as an art director really enlightened me to how complex a management role can be. I really enjoyed serving as the go-to person between the project director and our team of artists, making sure everyone stayed in the loop with project concerns and questions. One of my favorite tasks was creating design profile guides that artists could use to stay consistent. I also took charge of organizing and presenting final visuals to the director for approval, then relaying feedback to the artists to fine-tune any redeliveries. On top of that, I had the exciting responsibility of recruiting, training, and assigning projects to visual artists, carefully balancing workloads to keep things running smoothly. To tie everything together, I prepared detailed storyboards that mapped out sequences and timing, ensuring our storytelling stayed cohesive and visually engaging.
Senior Visual Designer
01.2015 - 03.2019
Working for YouTube content creators, offered me a personal understanding of the workflow that goes on behind the scene. While offering my services, I learned how to follow a content calendar to make sure visual graphics were ready for weekly uploads, keeping the creative flow going strong.
I enjoyed bringing ideas to life by playing with design elements and creating design eye-catching graphics that invite viewers to click on my clients videos. Collaborating with the channel manager was especially fun, as we brainstormed and sketched out rough visual concepts together, which I then transformed into polished final graphics.
